Thorne Educational Event A Success! On Thursday, July 29th Simple Solar took part is a renewable energy class held at Thorne Ecological Institute in Boulder, CO. Simple Solar, with the help of the Solar Roller and the solar oven, taught children about the benefits of solar energy. The kids learned why it is important to conserve energy and how renewable energy is an efficient way of doing so. They were also able to bake their own cookies and s’mores in the solar oven!
